The Wisdom in Tarot and What You need To Read It

There’s so much wisdom in Tarot. Every card has deep meanings that can help you navigate life, see the big picture, and dig deeper. The Major Arcana represent the journey of the Hero, from the first step towards the unknown (The Fool) to the completion (The World). The Minor Arcana are connected with the four elements: Earth (physical body, finances) Water (feelings and emotions), Fire (passion and action), and Air (thoughts and intellect).

Most people see Tarot as a tool to predict the future, but I disagree. First of all, there is no way to predict the future with certainty because free will is part of human life. Tarot can tell you the most likely outcome based on how things are currently going. What I noticed, working with Tarot is that they often tell you what you already know, but didn’t bring to full consciousness yet.

I don’t use Tarot to predict the future. In my mom coaching program, I use Tarot to communicate with Spirit. I don’t ask what my clients want to know. I ask their guides what they NEED to know in this moment of their lives and what their soul chose to learn in this lifetime. These two questions give me and my clients the big picture, which is essential in spirituality. In the following sessions, I may use Tarot to receive guidance and dig deeper into specific situations.

If you’re a beginner and want to learn the wisdom in Tarot, you need these three things:

Intuition

It helps to know the general meaning of the cards (I love Tarot Guide), but your intuition matters more because when you do a spread, you need to be able to read the message that three or more cards convey together. We are all intuitive, but intuition is like any other subject—you need practice. You can develop your intuition by meditating, trusting your feelings, and receiving guidance from your spirit guides.

Trust

You can’t know for sure that your interpretation of a card reading is right. Please, keep in mind that the message is always right because it comes from Spirit, but you may not be able to interpret it well or fully understand it at times. As a beginner, you need to trust. Trust is essential because it will allow you to grow and develop your gifts. You need to trust what your intuition is telling you and deliver the message. This is the only way to learn.

Detachment

If you’re too attached to the outcome, the cards may not respond. Bias doesn’t get along with Spirit. In case the cards respond, you may not be able to interpret the message properly. When you read for yourself, family, or friends, it’s hard to be detached from the outcome, but it’s necessary. If you feel too attached, do a cleansing meditation and ask your guides to help you focus on the task at hand without bias.

I see Tarot as a tool, like many others, to receive wisdom and get insights into the soul path of my clients. If you’re interested in adding a spiritual layer to your motherhood journey, my mom coaching programs may be for you.
